These terms apply to the free project review and the Layout Ideas Pack sold by PlanBuild Construction Ltd, company number 13233192, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Plan Build, Bayside Business Center, Willis Way, Poole, BH15 3TB. Contact office@planbuildco.com or 07700 195744.

The free project review

You receive a 30-minute call discussing your property, any plans or photographs you supply, your ideas and sensible next steps. There is no charge. It does not include a site visit, measured survey, new drawings, recorded video, structural assessment, planning determination or fixed construction quotation.

We contact you within one working day of your enquiry to confirm we can help and agree a mutually suitable appointment. Working days are Monday to Friday excluding English bank holidays. You do not need existing plans for the review.

The Layout Ideas Pack

The Layout Ideas Pack is available two ways. Done remotely for £250, from your Rightmove link, floor plan or sketch. Done in person for £650, which includes everything in the remote pack plus a home visit, a measured site survey and a 3D point cloud scan. Both versions include your initial brief and budget discussion, a drawing of your home as it is now, up to three layout options, a video call of 30 minutes to an hour to fine-tune your favourite option, and a PDF to keep. We confirm suitability, access, scope and delivery timing before you pay for this package.

Not included: planning or Building Regulations drawings and applications, structural calculations, a build price or cost estimate, and building work. These are separately agreed services, priced after the pack. Initial options are not construction instructions. Structural work and alterations remain subject to appropriate checks and approvals. A recommendation to change direction or not proceed is a valid outcome.

The No Plan Promise

This applies to the £250 remote Layout Ideas Pack. Before we draw anything, we agree the brief with you: the rooms and space you need, and your budget. We then plan using a working figure of about £2,500 per square metre of new or changed space.

If none of the options we draw meets the agreed brief within the space that budget allows, you can claim a full refund of the £250. Email office@planbuildco.com within 14 days of your video call.

Not covered: changes to the brief or budget after the options are drawn, or a preference for a different style where an option meets the agreed brief and budget. That is handled by the fine-tuning included on the call. The in-person £650 version of the pack is not covered by this promise. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Coverage and booking

The Layout Ideas Pack is available anywhere in the UK, remotely or in person. Our building work is for projects in Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch and approximately 20 miles around them. We check the project postcode when we call. If coverage is uncertain, contact us for a manual check. Enquiring does not book the review or the pack; we agree a time with you.

Changing your mind, refunds and rescheduling

You can cancel a remotely purchased service within 14 days after the contract is made. Email office@planbuildco.com, call 07700 195744 or write to our registered office. An unambiguous cancellation request is enough; the model wording below is optional.

The free project review carries no charge, so there is nothing to refund. Contact us to reschedule; if you miss the call, contact us to arrange another appointment. We do not charge a rescheduling fee.

You may request an earlier appointment for a paid service when we call to agree a time. Your statutory right to cancel ends after full delivery only where you requested the early start and acknowledged that consequence. Your rights if the service is faulty or not as described are unaffected.

Before a separately agreed onsite service begins, we confirm its appointment, scope and cancellation arrangements in writing. Any request to begin that service during its cancellation period must be separately agreed. Nothing in these terms excludes your statutory consumer rights.

Optional cancellation wording

To PlanBuild Construction Ltd, office@planbuildco.com, Plan Build, Bayside Business Center, Willis Way, Poole, BH15 3TB: “I give notice that I cancel my contract for [service], ordered on [date]. My name is [name], my address is [address], and my order reference is [reference].” Add the date, and a signature only if sending on paper.

Your information and drawings

Supply only plans and photographs you are entitled to share. We use them to prepare and provide your service, as explained in our privacy policy. You may keep your paid-for deliverables and share them with other designers and builders for your project. You are free to choose another provider for subsequent work.
