1. About us

This website is run by PlanBuild Construction Ltd, trading as PlanBuild, company number 13233192, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Plan Build, Bayside Business Center, Willis Way, Poole, BH15 3TB. We are a design-and-build contractor. We draw, price and build house extensions, kitchen knock-throughs, structural alterations and loft conversions for homeowners in Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch and the surrounding area. These terms govern your use of this website.

2. Our services and their terms

• Free Project Review and Layout Ideas Pack: covered by our service terms, which set out what is included, coverage, cancellation and refunds.
• Drawings, approvals and engineering: priced after the survey. We confirm the scope, price and terms in writing before you agree to go ahead.
• Building work: carried out under a separate written contract, priced from the finished drawings. That contract sets out the scope, price, payment stages and each party's responsibilities.

Information on this website, including guides and cost information, is general guidance. It is not a quotation or advice on your specific property.

3. Prices and payment

• Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable
• Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card details
• Each later stage is priced and agreed in writing before any charge is made

4. Drawings and intellectual property

Drawings and design documents we produce remain our intellectual property until they are paid for. Once paid for, you may use them for your own building project and share them with builders, designers, engineers and the council. You may not resell them or use them for other commercial purposes.

5. Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your right to cancel certain contracts made at a distance or away from our premises within 14 days, and your rights if a service is not carried out with reasonable care and skill. Nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

6. Using this website

We aim to keep this website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. Planning rules, fees and regulations change; check the current position with the Planning Portal, GOV.UK or your council before relying on it.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated date. The terms that apply to a service you buy are the ones in force when you agree to it.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
